So I dumped the HPR5 (5w-40) which was like water as the oil temp was hot, now running HPR10 (10w-50).
Not sure if it's placebo but the engine sounds a lot happier and nicer

Almost 3 weeks later and engine is great, for anyone considering this, hpr10 rocks
